Partnership projects
Supporting local producers, institutions, and supply chain stakeholders
Partnership projects are collaborative initiatives between Agraya GmbH and international organizations including governments, NGOs, development agencies, and private companies. These goal-oriented projects aim to strengthen the local agricultural sector by improving the knowledge and skills of producers, institutions, and other supply chain stakeholders while helping them access regional and international markets.
The projects encompass capacity-building activities across three core areas: Awareness (through events, webinars, and scoping missions), training (via the Agraya Academy), and certification facilitation (with GLOBALG.A.P. national technical working groups).

How do partnership projects make an impact?
The agriculture sector provides vital employment in both rural and urban areas of many countries, marking the cornerstone of many community livelihoods around the world. Capacity-building activities can strengthen these local communities, particularly in terms of economic impact and food security.
Dedicated projects that promote safe, socially and environmentally responsible farming practices help to protect producers from potential risks and enhance food safety and security for supply chains as a whole.
Furthermore, professional guidance on the benefits of primary production certification and the pathway to achieving it can lead to increased access to national and international markets, improving income opportunities and stimulating economic growth.
How does Agraya contribute?
GLOBALG.A.P. standards offer one of the most respected and internationally recognized forms of certification for the global trade of farmed products, with certified producers in more than 135 countries.
Providing targeted training, mentoring, and guidance to producers about GLOBALG.A.P. certification in their local context is instrumental in implementing more responsible practices and contributing to the gradual transformation of our food system.
Agraya partnership projects provide support on national, and international levels, from connecting local producers with key supply chain actors in their regions to facilitating the exchange of information and experience between countries.
Accelerating progress together
Continuously improved over 25 years, GLOBALG.A.P. standards are some of the most respected and widely used primary production standards in the sector. We recognize that widespread impact is best achieved through collaboration and mutual support, which is why we continually contribute to the projects of our partners around the world.
